Possible Causes
Dirty or undersized filter, High bather load, Imbalanced pH/alkalinity, Insufficient sanitizer, Fine particles bypassing filter
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Cloudy water can harbor bacteria; avoid soaking until clear and balanced.
- 1. Clean or replace filter: Rinse thoroughly; if older than 1 year or heavily stained, replace with a Freeflow-compatible cartridge.
- 2. Shock the spa: Add a non-chlorine or chlorine shock per label directions to oxidize contaminants.
- 3. Balance water: Adjust pH and alkalinity to recommended ranges.
- 4. Run filtration: Run jets and filtration for several hours; consider increasing filter cycle duration in the control settings.
If cloudiness persists, use a clarifier product compatible with acrylic/rotomolded shells and your sanitizer system.
