Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Danger: Risk of electric shock. Turn off power at the breaker and do not reset repeatedly if the breaker trips.
- Inspect pump 2 motor: Check for visible water leaks onto the motor, rust, or burn marks.
- Check cable and plug: Follow the Pump 2 cable to the control pack. Inspect for cuts or crushed sections. Ensure the connector is fully seated and not burned.
- Isolate the pump: Disconnect Pump 2 from the control board and restore power. If the breaker no longer trips and P2 clears, the pump is likely shorted and must be replaced.
Do not attempt to operate a shorted pump. Replace Pump 2 with a Hanscraft-specified jet pump of the same voltage and horsepower.
