Possible Causes

Tripped house breaker, Tripped GFCI, Loose main power connections, Failed main fuse on Hanscraft control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

High-voltage safety: Only check electrical components if you are comfortable and qualified. Always turn off power at the main panel before opening any covers.

  • Check breakers: Inspect the main spa breaker and any GFCI breaker or outlet feeding the spa. Reset if tripped. If it trips again immediately, do not continue resetting—there is likely a fault.
  • Inspect disconnect box: If your spa has an external disconnect, open it (with power OFF) and check for loose wires or burned connections.
  • Check control box fuse: Remove the Hanscraft control pack cover and locate any internal fuses. With power OFF, remove and visually inspect or test with a multimeter. Replace only with the same type and rating.

If power is present at the spa terminals but the control remains dead, the control board or internal transformer may have failed and should be replaced by a technician.
