Possible Causes
Partially clogged filters, Weak circulation pump, Debris in heater plumbing, Intermittent flow switch operation
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before removing filters.
- Deep-clean filters: Soak filters in a dedicated spa filter cleaner, rinse thoroughly, and reinstall. Replace if more than 2–3 years old.
- Observe circulation: With power restored, watch the circulation outlet for steady flow. If flow surges or stops, the SilentFlo circulation pump may be failing.
- Inspect flow switch wiring: Ensure the flow switch connectors are tight and not corroded.
Recurring HFL errors usually require replacement of the circulation pump or flow switch.
