Possible Causes
Loose control panel connection, Moisture intrusion into control panel, Faulty control panel keypad, Defective main control PCB in heater pump unit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the spa and keep the area dry before inspecting electrical components.
- 1. Power cycle the spa:
- Unplug the spa for at least 10 minutes.
- Press all buttons on the control panel a few times (with power disconnected) to discharge any residual power.
- Plug back in and reset the RCD/GFCI, then check if E92 clears.
- 2. Inspect control panel connection:
- If your Intex model has a detachable control panel, carefully remove it according to the manual.
- Check the connector for corrosion, bent pins, or moisture.
- Dry gently with a soft cloth; do not use heat guns or hair dryers.
- Reconnect firmly.
- 3. Check for water ingress:
- Look for condensation or water droplets under the control panel cover.
- If present, allow the unit to dry indoors for 24 hours before reconnecting.
- If E92 persists: The control panel assembly or main PCB is likely defective. Replacement of the control panel or entire heater pump unit may be required; contact Intex or a qualified technician.
