Possible Causes

Open or shorted water temperature sensor, Damaged sensor wiring harness, Corroded sensor connector on PCB, Faulty main control PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power and ensure the spa is not in use before opening the heater pump housing.

  • 1. Reset and observe:
    • Unplug the spa for 10 minutes, then reconnect and reset the RCD/GFCI.
    • Attempt to start heating and see if E93 reappears immediately.
  • 2. Check for extreme temperatures:
    • Verify the spa water is within normal range (not near freezing and not extremely hot).
    • Allow water to return to a moderate temperature (20–30°C / 68–86°F) and retry.
  • 3. Inspect sensor wiring (advanced users):
    • Open the heater pump unit cover according to the manual.
    • Locate the temperature sensor leads going into the heater tube.
    • Check for obvious damage, cuts, or disconnected plugs.
    • Reseat the connector on the PCB if loose.
  • If E93 remains: The temperature sensor (NTC) or main PCB is likely defective. Replacement of the sensor or heater pump unit is typically required; seek professional service.
