Possible Causes

Tripped household breaker, Tripped RCD/GFCI plug, Faulty power outlet, Failed internal fuse or PCB in heater pump unit

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Do not open the heater pump unit unless you are qualified; there are live mains components inside.

  • 1. Check outlet:
    • Plug a lamp or other device into the same outlet to confirm it has power.
  • 2. Reset RCD/GFCI:
    • Press TEST then RESET on the Intex plug.
    • If it will not reset, try another outlet. If still no reset, the cord may be faulty.
  • 3. Check household breaker:
    • Reset any tripped breakers or RCDs in your panel.
  • If still dead: Internal fuses or the main PCB may have failed. Contact Intex or a qualified technician; the heater pump unit may need replacement.
