How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power immediately to prevent heater damage.
- Check water level: Ensure spa is filled to the correct level and that all jets and suction fittings are submerged.
- Open all valves: Confirm that all slice valves around the pump and heater are fully open.
- Bleed heater: Loosen unions on both sides of the heater to release trapped air until water flows, then retighten securely.
- Reset error: Restore power and monitor for normal flow and heating. If DR returns quickly, do not continue to reset.
Repeated DR errors can permanently damage the heater. Have a technician inspect for internal heater damage and verify proper pump performance.
