Possible Causes
Water temperature near freezing, Ambient temperature sensor detecting low temperature, Control programmed freeze-protect cycle
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: ICE mode is a protective feature, not a malfunction.
- Verify conditions: Confirm outdoor temperature is near or below freezing. The spa is running pumps to prevent plumbing from freezing.
- Keep cover on: Ensure the Jacuzzi cover is closed and latched to retain heat.
- Check water level: Maintain proper water level so pumps do not draw air during freeze cycles.
- Do not shut off power: In freezing conditions, keep power on so freeze protection can operate.
If ICE displays in warm weather, the temperature sensor may be faulty and should be tested and replaced.
