Possible Causes
Severely clogged filter, Air lock in circulation system, Failing circulation pump, Obstruction in suction or return fittings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power at the breaker.
- Remove filter completely: Take out the filter cartridge and run the spa briefly without it to see if LF clears. Do not use the spa with bathers while filter is removed.
- Bleed air: Loosen the union on the circulation pump or use the bleed screw to release trapped air until water flows steadily.
- Check suction fittings: Inspect the skimmer and suction grates for debris, leaves, or toys blocking flow.
- Listen to circulation pump: Restore power and listen for grinding, squealing, or no operation from the small circulation pump. A noisy or silent pump likely needs replacement.
If LF remains after these steps, schedule service to test the circulation pump and inspect internal plumbing for blockages.
