Possible Causes
Recent power outage or brownout, Loose connections at terminal block, Incorrect supply voltage, Failing control board power supply
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Only qualified persons should open the control box. Turn off power at the main breaker before removing the cover.
- Confirm power: Check that the GFCI breaker is fully ON and not tripped. Reset if necessary.
- Inspect wiring: With power off, verify that the incoming power wires are tight at the control box terminal block and show no signs of overheating.
- Verify voltage (advanced): Using a multimeter, confirm that the correct voltage (typically 240V for Jacuzzi spas) is present at the input terminals.
- Power cycle: Turn power off for 5 minutes, then back on to reset the control.
If PF persists with correct supply voltage, the control board's power supply section may be failing and should be replaced by a technician.
