Possible Causes

Open or shorted temperature sensor, Corroded sensor connector at control board, Sensor not fully seated in well, Damaged sensor cable

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn off power at the breaker before working near the control box.

  • Compare temperatures: Feel the water and compare to the displayed temperature. If the reading is wildly inaccurate, suspect the sensor.
  • Inspect sensor lead: Trace the temperature sensor cable from the heater manifold or shell to the control box. Look for cuts, abrasions, or rodent damage.
  • Check connection: Open the control box and verify the sensor plug is fully seated on the Jacuzzi control board and free of corrosion.
  • Reseat sensor: Ensure the sensor bulb is fully inserted into its drywell or plumbing fitting and secured with the retaining clip.

If SN1 persists, the temperature sensor should be replaced with a compatible Jacuzzi sensor. If a new sensor does not resolve the error, the control board input may be defective.
