Jacuzzi spa water is cloudy, foamy, or has a strong chemical or musty odor.

Safety: Avoid using the spa until water chemistry is corrected.

• Test water: Use a test strip or kit to check sanitizer, pH, alkalinity, and hardness.
• Shock treatment: Add a Jacuzzi-approved spa shock to oxidize contaminants.
• Clean filter: Remove and deep-clean the filter cartridge or replace if old.
• Drain and refill: If water is very old or TDS is high, drain the spa, clean the shell, and refill with fresh water.

Persistent odor or slime may indicate biofilm; use a plumbing line purge product before draining.
