Possible Causes
Deteriorated jet body gasket, Cracked jet body, Loose jet retaining nut, Improperly seated jet insert
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power and lower the water level below the leaking jet before repair.
- Inspect jet: Remove the jet insert by turning counterclockwise and pulling out. Check for cracks or damage.
- Access backside (if possible): From inside the cabinet, locate the rear of the leaking jet body and check for a loose retaining nut.
- Tighten retaining nut: Gently tighten the nut to compress the gasket against the shell. Do not overtighten, as this can crack the shell or jet body.
- Replace gasket: If the gasket is brittle or deformed, remove the jet body and install a new Jacuzzi-compatible jet gasket.
Refill the spa and monitor for leaks. If the shell around the jet is cracked, professional repair is recommended.
