How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before opening the equipment bay.
- Check and clean filter: Remove and clean the filter cartridge thoroughly. Test operation with the filter removed.
- Bleed air from heater: Loosen the heater union slightly to release trapped air until water flows steadily, then retighten.
- Inspect circulation pump: Confirm that the circ pump runs continuously and is not noisy or excessively hot. Replace if it is not moving water properly.
- Descale heater (if needed): If you have hard water and repeated HL trips, a technician can remove the heater and flush it with a descaling solution to restore flow.
