How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Only work inside the control pack if you are qualified. Always turn off power at the main breaker and verify with a meter.
- Reset power: Turn the spa breaker off for 1 minute, then back on. Many PF codes clear after a clean restart.
- Check supply voltage: Have a qualified person measure voltage at the spa terminals. It should match the nameplate (typically 240V ±10%).
- Inspect main lugs: With power off, tighten the main power lugs in the control pack and at the disconnect. Loose connections can cause low voltage.
- Monitor for recurrence: If PF returns frequently, consult an electrician to check the circuit and a spa technician to inspect the control board.
