Possible Causes
Insufficient water flow, Clogged filter, Air lock in plumbing, Failed or misadjusted pressure switch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before removing filters or opening unions.
- Clean or bypass filter: Remove and clean the filter. Test the spa briefly without the filter to see if PSO clears.
- Bleed air: Loosen pump or heater unions to release trapped air until water flows, then retighten.
- Inspect pressure switch: Check wiring and, if adjustable, carefully adjust the switch slightly to see if it will close with normal flow. Do not over‑tighten; this can defeat safety.
- Replace if needed: If PSO persists with good flow, replace the pressure switch.
