LA Spas Poor Water Clarity / Filtration Inefficiency

Spa water is cloudy and does not clear even with filtration running.

Possible Causes

Dirty or worn‑out filter cartridge, Insufficient filtration cycle time, Imbalanced water chemistry, High bather load without adequate sanitizer

Safety: Avoid using the spa until water is clear and properly sanitized.

Clean or replace filter: Remove and thoroughly clean the filter. Replace if pleats are frayed or filter is over 1 year old.
Increase filtration time: On the LA Spas control panel, extend the daily filtration cycle duration according to the manual.
Shock the water: Add a spa shock treatment to oxidize contaminants.
Balance chemistry: Adjust pH, alkalinity, and sanitizer to recommended levels.
