Possible Causes
Failed ambient temperature sensor, Sensor cable damaged or disconnected, Control PCB sensor input fault, Sensor reading outside expected range
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the spa from mains power before inspection.
- 1. Move spa to a stable environment: If the spa is operating in very cold or very hot ambient conditions, temporarily shield it from extreme temperatures and allow it to stabilize.
- 2. Power reset: Unplug for 10–15 minutes, then reconnect and reset the RCD. Check if E07 clears.
- 3. Inspect sensor wiring (if visible): Some models have an external ambient sensor lead. Ensure it is not cut, pinched, or unplugged.
- If E07 remains: The ambient/freeze sensor or control PCB is likely faulty. Because these are integrated safety components, replacement of the sensor harness or entire pump/heater unit is typically required. Contact Lay‑Z‑Spa support.
