Possible Causes
Internal control board firmware fault, Corrupted memory or failed microcontroller, Moisture ingress on PCB, Loose internal connectors between display panel and main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the spa before handling the pump/heater unit. Do not open sealed electronics unless you are qualified.
- 1. Full reset: Disconnect power for at least 30 minutes to allow full discharge. Reconnect, reset the RCD, and attempt to start the spa.
- 2. Check for moisture: Inspect the outside of the control panel and pump housing for condensation, cracks, or water ingress. Dry the exterior thoroughly and ensure the unit is protected from rain.
- 3. Verify power supply: Plug the spa directly into a dedicated outlet (no extension leads) and confirm stable voltage. Fluctuating power can trigger control errors.
- If E08 persists: The main control PCB is likely defective. This is not user-repairable; the pump/heater unit or control board must be replaced by an authorized service center.
