Possible Causes
Failed circulation pump motor, Seized pump impeller due to debris, Burned pump capacitor, Loose internal wiring to pump motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the spa before any inspection. Never run the heater without confirmed water circulation.
- 1. Listen for pump operation: When you start the filter mode, place your hand on the pump housing. You should feel vibration and see water movement inside the spa. If the motor is silent and there is no flow, the pump may be failed.
- 2. Check for blockages: Remove the pump from the liner using stopper caps. Inspect the inlet for debris that could jam the impeller. If accessible, gently rotate the impeller with a non-metallic tool to free it.
- 3. Power reset: After clearing debris, reconnect the pump, plug in, reset the RCD, and try filter mode again.
- If E10 persists and the pump does not run: The circulation pump motor or its start capacitor is likely defective. These are internal to the pump/heater unit and not user-serviceable on most models. Replacement of the pump/heater unit is usually required.
