Possible Causes
Loose ribbon cable between keypad and main PCB, Moisture ingress into control panel, Failed touchpad or display board, Corroded connectors
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before touching the control panel or opening any covers.
- 1. Dry the control panel: If the top control panel is wet or has condensation under the film, gently dry the surface with a soft cloth. Protect the spa from direct rain.
- 2. Power reset: Unplug the spa for 10–15 minutes, then reconnect and reset the RCD. Check if the error clears.
- 3. Check for physical damage: Inspect the control panel for cracks, lifted membrane, or signs of water ingress. Do not pry it open unless you are qualified.
- If E11 remains: The keypad/display board or its connection to the main PCB is likely faulty. Replacement of the top control panel assembly or entire pump/heater unit may be required. Contact Lay‑Z‑Spa support.
