Possible Causes
Failed air blower motor, Blocked air channel or non-return valve, Blower thermal cut-out tripped, Blower intake blocked by debris
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the spa before inspecting the blower intake or underside of the pump unit.
- 1. Allow blower to cool: If bubbles stopped after long use, the blower may have overheated. Let the unit cool for 30–60 minutes, then try again.
- 2. Check blower intake: Inspect the air intake vents on the pump/heater unit for dust, leaves, or obstructions. Gently vacuum or brush away debris.
- 3. Listen for operation: When you press the bubbles button, listen for the blower motor. A loud hum with no airflow may indicate a seized blower.
- 4. Inspect air outlet (liner): Check the ring of air jets around the spa base for obvious blockages.
- If bubbles still do not work: The air blower motor or its capacitor is likely faulty. This is internal to the pump unit and requires professional replacement.
