Safety first: Turn off and unplug the spa before removing the filter housing.

• 1. Remove housing: Unscrew the filter housing and remove the cartridge.
• 2. Inspect O-ring: Check the O-ring on the housing for cracks, flattening, or missing sections. Replace if damaged.
• 3. Clean threads and seat: Wipe the threads and sealing surfaces on both the housing and liner port to remove grit or scale.
• 4. Reinstall carefully: Screw the housing on by hand, ensuring it is not cross-threaded. Tighten snugly but do not overtighten.
• 5. Test under pressure: Run the filter pump and check for leaks or movement.
• If it still pops off: The liner port threads may be damaged and require liner or port replacement.
