Possible Causes
Tripped house circuit breaker, Faulty RCD plug, Damaged power cord, Internal fuse blown on control PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not attempt to bypass the RCD or use damaged cables. Risk of electric shock.
- 1. Check outlet: Plug another appliance into the same outlet to confirm it has power. Reset the house breaker if tripped.
- 2. Inspect RCD plug: Ensure the RCD is fully plugged in. Press the Reset button; the indicator should light. Press Test to verify it trips, then reset again.
- 3. Examine power cord: Look for cuts, crushed sections, or exposed wires. If damaged, do not use the spa.
- 4. Try another outlet: Use a different dedicated outlet (no extension leads) to rule out wiring issues.
- If still dead: An internal fuse or the control PCB may have failed. These are inside the sealed pump/heater unit and should only be serviced by a professional. Contact Lay‑Z‑Spa support for repair or replacement.
