Air bubbles or gurgling noise from filter area when pump is running.

Safety first: Turn off power before tightening unions or opening the filter housing.

• Raise water level: Fill the spa so that the water line is above the skimmer opening.
• Tighten suction unions: Hand-tighten the union on the suction side of the pump and inspect the O-ring.
• Inspect filter housing: Check the filter canister lid and O-ring for cracks or misalignment. Lubricate and reseat the O-ring.
• Check for visible cracks: Look for cracks in the suction plumbing that could draw in air.
