Possible Causes
Programming error in filtration cycle, Stuck low-speed relay on control board, Failed low-speed winding in pump motor, Faulty circulation pump
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the GFCI breaker before opening the control pack.
- Review filtration settings: Check the user manual for how to adjust F1/F2 filtration cycles. Ensure the cycle duration is not set excessively long.
- Observe pump behavior: With power on, see if the pump runs on low speed when commanded. If it only runs on high speed, the low-speed winding may be open.
- Inspect control board relays: Look for signs of burning or sticking on the low-speed pump relay.
- Replace pump or board: If the low-speed winding is bad, replace the pump. If the relay is stuck, the control board will need replacement.
