Possible Causes
Recent power outage or voltage drop, Loose line connections at control pack, Undersized wiring causing voltage sag, Faulty GFCI breaker intermittently tripping
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Only qualified persons should work inside the electrical service panel.
- Confirm recent outage: If there was a known power outage, PF is informational. Clear the message by pressing any button or power cycling the spa.
- Inspect spa connections: With power off, check that all line and neutral wires are tight at the Lifesmart control pack terminals.
- Check breaker and wiring size: Ensure the spa is wired with the correct gauge wire and breaker size per the installation manual.
- Monitor for repeats: If PF recurs frequently without outages, have an electrician check for loose connections or voltage issues.
