Possible Causes
Air trapped in pump after draining/refilling, Closed valves at pump suction or discharge, Disconnected or blocked suction line, Broken pump impeller
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before loosening any plumbing connections.
- Check water level: Ensure the spa is filled to the proper level.
- Open all valves: Verify that all slice valves around the pump are fully open.
- Bleed the pump: Loosen the union on the pump discharge side until water flows out and air is released, then retighten.
- Prime via hose: Place a garden hose into the filter well and force water through the suction line to help prime the pump.
- Inspect impeller: If the pump motor spins freely but still no flow, remove the wet end and check if the impeller is broken or detached from the shaft. Replace if damaged.
