Display shows Pr on startup and pumps run intermittently.

Pr is typically a normal priming mode on Marquis/ Balboa systems.

• Allow priming: After restoring power, the spa enters Pr mode to allow you to purge air. Press the Jets button to run each pump and bleed air from the system.
• Exit priming: After 4–5 minutes, the spa will usually exit Pr automatically and begin normal heating. You can also press the Temp or Mode button to advance to normal operation.
• If stuck in Pr: Power cycle the spa. If it repeatedly returns to Pr and never heats, there may be a sensor or control issue requiring service.
