Possible Causes
Deteriorated jet body gasket, Cracked jet body, Loose jet wall fitting, Freeze damage to jet plumbing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and lower water level below the leaking jet.
- Inspect jet face: Remove the jet insert (twist and pull) and inspect the jet body for cracks or damage.
- Check wall fitting: From inside the spa, see if the jet wall fitting is loose. Some designs allow gentle tightening from the inside.
- Reseal or replace: If the gasket is deteriorated or the body is cracked, the jet body assembly must be accessed from the back side of the shell. This often requires removing some foam insulation and may be best handled by a technician.
Because jet body leaks can migrate through foam and appear far from the source, professional leak detection is often recommended.
