How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before working on Pump 2.
- Inspect Pump 2: Check for leaks around the wet end and ensure the motor spins freely by hand.
- Verify wiring: Confirm Pump 2 is wired correctly to the control pack and that the wire gauge matches Master Spas specifications.
- Test under load: With power restored, briefly activate Pump 2. If it trips the breaker or shows P2 immediately, the pump may be drawing excessive current and should be replaced.
- Control board check: If a known-good pump still triggers P2, the control pack relay or circuitry may be damaged and require replacement.
