How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Only work inside the electrical compartment if you are qualified. Otherwise, contact a licensed electrician or spa technician.
- Check supply voltage: Verify that the spa is wired according to the Master Spas wiring diagram (typically 240V split-phase for larger models). Use a multimeter to confirm correct voltage at the terminal block.
- Inspect connections: With power OFF, tighten all lugs at the spa terminal block and GFCI breaker. Look for signs of overheating or discoloration.
- Breaker health: If the GFCI trips frequently, have an electrician test and replace the breaker if necessary.
- Internal fault: If external power is stable but PF persists, the control pack’s internal power supply may be failing and the pack should be replaced.
