How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF power at the GFCI breaker.
- Inspect topside cable: Remove the equipment bay panel and locate the ribbon or cable from the topside control to the control pack. Ensure it is fully seated and not corroded.
- Check for damage: Look along the cable route for pinches, cuts, or rodent damage.
- Dry the keypad: If water has gotten under the topside overlay, gently dry the area and allow time for moisture to evaporate. Do not use a heat gun directly on the panel.
- Test with replacement panel (if available): If you have access to a known-good Michael Phelps/ Master Spas-compatible topside, plug it in to see if the display returns.
If the display remains blank with a known-good panel, the control pack may have a failed keypad interface and require replacement.
