How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF power at the main breaker panel before inspecting electrical connections.
- Check household power: Verify that the GFCI spa breaker is ON and not tripped. Reset if necessary.
- Inspect breaker connections (qualified persons only): Ensure that the line and load wires are firmly tightened in the GFCI breaker lugs.
- Inspect control pack power lugs: Remove the equipment bay panel and check that the main power wires are securely fastened to the control pack terminals (L1, L2, and ground).
- Restore power and reset spa: Turn the breaker ON, allow the spa to reboot, and reprogram the time and settings if needed.
- Monitor for recurring PF: If PF appears frequently, have an electrician check for voltage drop or unstable supply to the spa.
