How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn OFF power at the breaker before disconnecting the keypad.

  • Inspect keypad surface: Look for cracks, bubbles, or water under the overlay.
  • Check cable and connector: From the equipment bay, locate the keypad cable and ensure it is firmly plugged into the control pack. Inspect for corrosion or bent pins.
  • Dry moisture: If minor moisture is present, gently dry the area and allow time for evaporation. Avoid direct high heat.
  • Replace keypad if needed: If buttons remain unresponsive, replace the topside control panel with an OEM Michael Phelps/ Master Spas-compatible unit. Remove the old panel from the spa shell, route the new cable, and seal the new panel per manufacturer instructions.
