Possible Causes
Defective MSPA flow switch or water level sensor, Stuck float in level sensor chamber, Loose or corroded sensor connector on control PCB, Airlock in circulation line
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the spa before removing any covers or hoses.
- Verify water level and bubbles: Ensure the spa is filled to the correct level. Avoid running the heater with the bubble function on high, as this can disturb the level sensor on some MSPA models.
- Bleed air: Gently press the spa walls and run filtration (not heat) to purge air. If your MSPA has a manual bleed screw near the pump, open it slightly to release trapped air, then close once water flows steadily.
- Inspect flow/level sensor: Locate the MSPA flow switch or water level sensor (often in a small chamber near the suction). Check that the float moves freely and that no debris is jamming it. Clean gently with fresh water.
- Check wiring: Open the control box and verify the sensor connector is firmly seated on the PCB. Look for corrosion or moisture; dry carefully if needed.
- Replace sensor: If E6 persists and the float/switch appears physically intact, replace the MSPA flow/level sensor assembly with the correct part for your model.
