Possible Causes
Corrupted filtration timer settings, Stuck pump relay on PCB, Faulty pump feedback sensor, Firmware bug
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before opening the control unit.
- Reset filtration program: Consult the MSPA manual to reset filtration cycles to factory defaults. Often this involves holding specific buttons for several seconds.
- Power cycle: Unplug for 10–15 minutes, then reconnect and reprogram filtration times.
- Observe pump behavior: If the pump runs even when filtration is set to OFF, the pump relay may be stuck. Inspect the PCB for burn marks near the pump relay.
- Replace PCB if needed: If relay contacts are welded or the control logic is unresponsive, replace the MSPA main control PCB.
