Possible Causes
Puncture from sharp object under spa, Split seam due to overinflation, UV degradation of PVC material, Freeze damage to tub wall
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and drain the spa before attempting repairs.
- Locate puncture: Inflate the tub and spray soapy water on suspected areas. Bubbles will form at the leak point.
- Mark and dry: Mark the leak with a waterproof marker and dry the area thoroughly.
- Apply patch: Use an MSPA PVC repair patch kit. Cut a rounded patch larger than the hole, apply the supplied adhesive, and press firmly over the leak. Allow the recommended curing time before refilling.
- Check seams: If the leak is along a seam or is large, a patch may be temporary. Consider replacing the MSPA tub liner if damage is extensive.
