Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the spa before any inspection of the motor/heater unit.
- Check for normal operation sounds: When heating is requested, you should hear a relay click inside the motor unit. No click may indicate a relay or control issue.
- Inspect power cord and outlet: Ensure the spa is on a dedicated circuit and the plug is fully inserted. Low voltage can stress heater components.
- Visual inspection (external): Look for burn marks or melted plastic around the heater connections on the outside of the motor unit. Do not open sealed compartments unless qualified.
Heater circuit diagnosis requires electrical testing of the NetSpa heater element and control board. This should be performed by a professional. In most cases, the heater assembly or the entire motor/control unit must be replaced.
