Possible Causes

Blocked air outlet ring, Water intrusion into air blower, Seized blower motor, Faulty blower triac/relay on control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before inspecting the air outlet or motor unit.

  • Check air outlet ring: Inspect the bubble outlet ring at the bottom of the spa for debris, sand, or scale buildup. Gently clean the holes with a soft brush.
  • Ensure spa is on level ground: If the motor unit is lower than the spa base, water can siphon into the blower. Reposition the unit as per NetSpa instructions.
  • Dry-out period: If you suspect water has entered the blower, leave the spa unplugged for 24 hours to allow internal moisture to evaporate.

If E09 persists and the blower does not run or makes loud humming noises, the NetSpa air blower motor or its control circuit is likely damaged and should be replaced by a technician.
