Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the spa before moving or repositioning the motor unit.
- Improve ventilation: Ensure at least several centimeters of clearance around all sides of the NetSpa motor/heater unit. Do not cover it with towels, decking, or insulation.
- Shade the unit: If the spa is in direct sunlight, provide shade for the motor unit to reduce heat buildup.
- Clean vents: Use a soft brush or vacuum to remove dust and debris from ventilation slots.
If E12 continues even in cool conditions with clear ventilation, an internal temperature sensor or cooling fan (if present) may be faulty and the motor/control unit should be inspected by a technician.
