Possible Causes

Incorrect or incompatible motor unit connected, Internal ID chip failure, Corrupted configuration data, Damaged communication bus between keypad and control

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the spa before disconnecting or reconnecting any modules.

  • Verify model compatibility: Ensure the motor/heater unit is the correct NetSpa model for your spa body. Mixing components from different models can cause E14.
  • Check connectors: Inspect any external communication or power connectors between the spa body and motor unit for bent pins or corrosion.
  • Factory reset: If supported, perform a factory reset of the control system following the NetSpa manual.

If E14 persists, the internal ID or configuration memory on the control PCB is likely defective. Replacement of the motor/control unit is usually required.
