Possible Causes

Burned-out heater element, Internal thermal fuse open in heater, Loose heater wiring connection, Partially tripped high-limit thermostat

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before touching the motor/heater unit.

  • Confirm temperature setting: Ensure the set temperature is higher than the current water temperature and that heating mode is enabled.
  • Check for heating indicator: On many NetSpa models, a heating icon appears when the heater is energized. If it never appears, the control may not be sending power to the heater.
  • Inspect for external damage: Look for burn marks or melted plastic around the heater tube on the outside of the motor unit.

Testing the heater element and internal thermal fuse requires electrical measurements and opening the motor unit, which should be done only by a qualified technician. In most cases, the NetSpa heater assembly or entire motor unit must be replaced.
