Possible Causes
Failed blower motor, Tripped thermal overload, Water intrusion into blower, Blocked air intake
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the GFCI breaker before working on the blower or its wiring.
- Step 1 – Attempt operation: Press the AIR or BLOWER button and listen for any sound. No sound suggests no power; a brief run then stop suggests overheating.
- Step 2 – Inspect intake: Locate the blower air intake and ensure it is not blocked by debris or insulation.
- Step 3 – Check for water: Inspect the blower housing and air line for signs of water intrusion. Water in the blower can cause failure.
- Step 4 – Verify connections: With power off, check that the blower plug is firmly connected to the control pack and that the cord is undamaged.
- Step 5 – Replace blower: If the blower does not run or repeatedly overheats, replace it with a Nordic-compatible air blower assembly.
