Display shows LOC or LOCK; buttons on the topside control panel do not respond.

Safety first: No electrical work is required for this procedure.

• Step 1 – Unlock sequence: On most Nordic topside panels, press and hold the designated lock/unlock button (often TEMP UP and TEMP DOWN together, or a specific LOCK icon) for 3–5 seconds until LOC disappears. Refer to your Nordic owner’s manual for the exact combination.
• Step 2 – Test buttons: After LOC clears, press jets and light buttons to confirm normal operation.
• Step 3 – Check for stuck keys: If LOC returns or buttons act erratically, inspect the topside panel for moisture under the overlay or physical damage.
• Step 4 – Replace topside panel: If keys are unresponsive or randomly lock, the Nordic topside control panel membrane may be failing and should be replaced with a compatible panel.
