How to Fix / Troubleshooting

- Step 1 – Confirm household power: Check if other devices on the same circuit are affected. Reset the GFCI breaker feeding the spa.
- Step 2 – Inspect spa disconnect: With power off, open the spa disconnect box and verify all lugs are tight and wires are not burned or discolored.
- Step 3 – Verify voltage: Using a multimeter (only if qualified), confirm correct voltage at the spa control pack input (typically 240V for most Nordic models, or 120V for plug-and-play units).
- Step 4 – Check internal fuses: With power off and the equipment bay open, inspect any fuses on the Nordic control board. Replace only with identical type and rating.
- Step 5 – Monitor for recurrence: Restore power and observe. If PF recurs frequently, the control board or incoming power quality may be at fault and should be evaluated by a professional.
