Reduced Jet Flow
Jets are weak or some seats have very little water pressure.

Possible Causes
Dirty filter, Air lock in plumbing, Diverter valve mispositioned, Partially closed slice valves
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the GFCI breaker before removing filters or opening any plumbing unions.
- Step 1 – Clean filter: Remove the Nordic filter cartridge and rinse thoroughly. For testing, run the spa briefly without the filter to see if jet strength improves.
- Step 2 – Check water level: Ensure water level is above all jets and suction fittings to prevent air ingestion.
- Step 3 – Open jets and diverters: Turn each individual jet face fully counterclockwise to open. Set any diverter valves to the center position to balance flow between seats.
- Step 4 – Verify slice valves: In the equipment bay, confirm that all slice (gate) valves on suction and return lines are fully pulled up/open.
- Step 5 – Bleed air: If the spa was recently refilled, loosen pump unions slightly to release trapped air until water appears, then retighten.
- Step 6 – Inspect pump impeller: If flow is still weak, remove the pump wet end and check for debris or a broken impeller. Replace as needed.
