Possible Causes
Debris lodged in jet body, Jet insert unscrewed or missing, Mineral buildup in jet nozzle, Broken internal jet components
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off pumps before removing any jet parts to avoid injury or damage.
- Step 1 – Check jet face position: Rotate the non-working jet face counterclockwise to ensure it is fully open.
- Step 2 – Remove jet insert: Many Nordic jets can be removed by turning the face counterclockwise until it releases. Pull the insert out and inspect for debris or scale.
- Step 3 – Clean jet: Soak the jet insert in a mixture of warm water and white vinegar to dissolve mineral deposits. Rinse thoroughly.
- Step 4 – Inspect jet body: Shine a light into the jet body to check for obstructions. Use a soft brush or plastic tool to dislodge debris (never use metal tools that can damage plumbing).
- Step 5 – Reinstall or replace: Reinstall the cleaned jet insert. If the internal parts are cracked or worn, replace the jet with a Nordic-compatible jet assembly.
