Possible Causes
Failed ozone generator, Clogged ozone injector, Kinked ozone tubing, Ozone circuit disabled in control settings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the GFCI breaker before servicing ozone equipment.
- Step 1 – Verify ozone option: Confirm your Nordic model is equipped with an ozone system and that it is enabled in the control pack settings.
- Step 2 – Check indicator: Some Nordic spas have an ozone indicator light on the control panel or inside the equipment bay. Note whether it illuminates during filtration cycles.
- Step 3 – Inspect tubing: Follow the ozone tubing from the generator to the injector. Ensure there are no kinks, cracks, or disconnections.
- Step 4 – Clean injector: Remove and soak the Mazzei-style injector in vinegar to dissolve mineral buildup, then flush with clean water.
- Step 5 – Replace generator: If the ozone generator does not power on or produce ozone (often indicated by no internal glow or fan), replace it with a Nordic-compatible ozone unit.
